Fieldgate Homes is a company which provides the building of private real estate communities and commercial properties, including golf courses and banquet facilities, throughout the Greater Toronto area. Joan is a Certified Human Resource Director and Administration Director who is responsible for human relations, reviewing managerial choices, cash flow management, initialing payable checks, and bringing in computer technicians when necessary. She is the Chair Elect of the Board of Directors with the Reena Foundation, which is an organization that is dedicated to developing and providing community services for people who have a developmental disability. Joan was the recipient of the 2011 Board Member of Distinction Ward with Reena. She is also the past President of the Rotary Club of North York and the Rotary Club of Willowdale. In addition, Joan served as team captain for The Weekend to End Women's Breast Cancer in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
